Advanced Purchasing Solution, LLC is in the business of showing corporate officers how to log onto the internet to use a business-to-business service called SCANMARKET to host their own reverse auctions for procurement purposes. The difference between a traditional auction and a reverse auction is in a traditional auction, the competition between buyers drives the price higher; whereas, in a reverse auction the competition between buyers drives the price lower.

Over the past ten years or so, reverse auctions (also known as forward auctions or
e-auctions) are catching on as a new way for corporations to save money and time in procurement (purchasing) operations while making the process more transparent.

For one annual fee, we will provide your company with everything it needs (including training) to host reverse auctions. The only thing you need is the ability to email and a good internet connection. We provide everything you need. You won’t need IT help. You won’t need to purchase new hardware or software.
